The sessions are free. \n\n\n\nModerator Bio:  Oliver grew up hearing stories of Wales and was first introduced to the “Iaith y Nefoedd” by his maternal grandfather. Although he may have not have been fluent\, his tad-cu knew enough to keep the language alive\, and Oliver has been working hard to resurrect the language within his family ever since. Keeping Yr Hen Iaith alive is a deeply personal affair for Oliver\, but that’s not to say there’s not some fun to be had along the way! A native of the UK\, Oliver has been living in the US for 5 years and currently works as a high school Chemistry teacher in Montgomery County\, MD. \n\n\n\nWe always welcome donations to our Scholarship Endowment Fund as well as general donations. She has been a regular attendee at Cwrs Cymraeg Cymdeithas Madog since 1999\, including serving on the Board from 2003 to 2012 and again from 2019 to present. She is also a linguistic QA tester at Welocalize\, Inc.\, editing translations of apps like Blackboard and Pinterest in Welsh and British English. The sessions are free. \n\n\n\nModerator Bio:  Christine McSorley (Jones) lived on Anglesey in North Wales for over 40 years\, before moving to Canada in January 2000. She has worked in the Hospitality and Tourism department at colleges in Wales and Ontario\, Canada\, and holds a certificate for adult teaching and training. Currently she teaches part-time online with Algonquin College in Ottawa and also on the Ontario Welsh Festival board. She has also taught online for the ‘Cada Dia Welsh’ project and has taught level 2 in the Cymdeithas Madog course 2017 and 2018\, as well as leading other Welsh language activities. She chats on Facetime with her sister who is still living in North Wales\, as well as singing Welsh nursery rhymes with her 4 grandchildren. \n\n\n\nWe always welcome donations to our Scholarship Endowment Fund as well as general donations.
