DESCRIPTION:Cwrs Rhith Ionawr 2025 ~ Virtual Welsh Course January 2025 ~\nRegistration is open. \nWe invite you to register for our annual Winter virtual Cwrs! This will be a mini-course featuring three levels of Welsh: Beginning\, Intermediate\, and Advanced. Three sessions per level are available over the weekend of January 24 through 26\, you can sign up for one\, two\, or all three sessions at your desired level. Sessions will be 90 minutes each\, and will take place using Zoom. \nIn contrast to our usual in person course structure\, the Cwrs Rhith (Virtual Course) will be in an informal “siop siarad” format\, with activities and conversation topics created by each individual tutor. \nRegistered participants are also able to register for an optional presentation by Huw Webber on \nWelsh late 19th century history\, including why Wales didn’t opt for independence. \nAlso included in the weekend will be two pronunciation sessions run by Christine McSorley. She will go through “Yr Wyddor” the Welsh alphabet with you\, to practice the sounds and build your vocabulary as you go through the letters.
