DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that the 2025 Cymdeithas Madog in-person summer course Cwrs Cymraeg Dyffryn Hudson / The Hudson Valley Welsh Course\, will be held at Marist University in Poughkeepsie\, NY from 20 – 27 July. \nWe have a great Cwrs planned for 2025! Our tutors biographies will be available on the Cymdeithas Madog home page under “learn more about our summer 2025 course.” \nWhen registering\, please select the level you would like to join. Please click here for a guide to our curriculum levels this will help with self-placement. \nThe Wednesday excursion will be to Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum in Hyde Park NY \nThere will be pub nights\, the famous quiz led by the indomitable Robert Jones\, Welsh Scrabble\, Welsh folk dancing\, and extra workshops offered by our tutors on Welsh topics of interest. The Noson Lawen and Eisteddfod will be highlights of the week! We hope to see you there! \nThe cost for the week is $1400.00 for room\, board\, and tuition – regardless of single or double room occupancy. The accommodation will be townhouse-style residence. Each guest will have a private bedroom with shared bathroom access\, along with a kitchen and common areas for added convenience.
