Rhaeadr Ewynnol / Swallow Falls Swallow Falls, a short distance outside of Betws Y Coed, Conwy, is the tallest continuous waterfall in Wales. The English name, Swallow Falls, comes from a mistranslation of the Welsh name - someone mistook "ewynnol" ("frothy") for "wennol" ("swallow").
