Llandudno is perhaps the most famous of the North Welsh
seaside resort towns. The beach is lined with hotels for the tourists
that come from all over Britain to enjoy the sea and surf. The beach
is guarded on the west by the Great Orme, a large rock formation. This
area has been of particular interest to people for ages - as is shown
by a 3,700 year old copper mine on the Great Orme.
