Lluniau o Gymru

Pictures of Wales

Wales is a land of great beauty. From the peak of Eryri ("Mount Snowdon") to the cymoedd ("vales") of South Wales, there are few lands with such dramatic scenery. Here is just a taste of Wales in pictures.

Plas Yr Esgob / The Bishop's Palace

<< Previous

St. David's is a small market town in south - west Wales. However, it's importance is far greater than the size of the town. St. David's (or "Ty Ddewi" in Welsh) is the home of St. David's Cathedral, the seat of the Archbishop of Wales for the Church In Wales. The remains of the lavish Bishop's Palace can still be seen beside the cathedral today.
